The postgraduate hostel buildings at Panjab University formed part of the broader Chandigarh campus program and represent one of its residential components.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSolid teak throughout. The body is divided into two equal bays, each closed by a pair of hinged doors with recessed circular pulls and original wooden toggle latches. Each bay contains one interior shelf. Six tapered cylindrical legs support the body, three across the front and three across the rear, a leg form characteristic of Jeanneret’s residential and hostel furniture for the Chandigarh program.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe teak has developed a deep, warm patina over decades of institutional life.
