Assemblage Géométrique No. 9
Assemblage Géométrique No. 9 is a sophisticated study in balance and proportion. Precision-cut paper forms in warm taupe, ivory, sand, and deep black interlock across a cream-colored substrate, their layering creating both rhythm and depth. Arcs, lines, and geometric solids converge in a composition that feels architectural yet fluid, structured yet expressive.
This work is firmly rooted in the legacy of modernism. Its interplay of geometric form recalls the Bauhaus school’s experiments in design purity, while the tonal palette and layering evoke the refined abstractions of post-war European art. The float-mounted presentation in a shadow box frame without acrylic preserves the tactile materiality of each shape and surface, allowing shadows to shift throughout the day.
At 30” x 40”, the piece offers strong visual presence, equally suited as the anchor of a gallery wall or as a stand-alone statement in a design-forward interior.
