User-Generated Content (UGC) Policy

We Love Celebrating Our Lemieux et Cie Community

At Lemieux et Cie LLC ("Lemieux et Cie," the "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), we believe our community creates the most authentic and inspiring content. When you share your experiences with us, you help other people discover what we’re all about while showcasing your own creativity. Here’s how we handle the amazing content you create and share with us.

How This Works

When you tag @LemieuxetCie or use #Lemieuxetcie, you’re giving us permission to celebrate your content by sharing it across our platforms.

We want to be completely transparent about how we might use your content, so here are the details:

1. What You’re Agreeing To

By tagging us or using our hashtags, you grant us permission to:

  • Repost your content on our social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube);

  • Feature it on our website and blog;

  • Include it in our marketing materials and campaigns;

  • Use it in email newsletters and promotional content;

  • Showcase it in presentations and brand materials; and

  • Use your name or social media handle for attribution.


Examples of how we typically use UGC:

  • Weekly community spotlights on Instagram Stories;

  • "Customer Love" carousel posts;

  • Showcase reels;

  • Seasonal campaign compilations; and

  • Website testimonial sections.

2. Our Promises to You

We commit to:

  • Always credit you on social media posts with tags and mentions (e.g., on social platforms);

  • Drive traffic back to your profile by encouraging followers to check you out;

  • Aim to credit you across other formats when technically possible (print ads, emails, etc.);

  • Feature diverse community voices — not just the biggest accounts;

  • Remove your content within a reasonable amount of time if you request it; and

  • Never claim ownership of your original content.

3. What We Need From You

By sharing content with us, you confirm that:

  • You’re at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your location);

  • You either own the content or have all necessary rights and permission to share it;

  • Everyone visible in photos or videos have agreed to appear;

  • You agree to comply with our content selection guidelines (see Section 5);

  • You understand and agree to our policy regarding use of AI tools in UGC (see Section 6); and

  • You have the right to grant Lemieux et Cie the usage permissions described in this policy (see Section 7).

4. Easy Opt-Out Options

Changed your mind? No worries at all.

You can opt out anytime by:

  • Commenting "no repost" on any of our posts;

  • DMing us @LemieuxetCie;

  • Emailing  marketing@lemieuxetcie.com; or

  • Simply asking us to remove specific content.


We’ll handle your request within 48 hours.

5. Content Selection Guidelines

Lemieux et Cie reserves sole discretion in determining which user-generated content ("UGC") is selected for redistribution, publication, or promotion across our channels. While we encourage creativity and originality, the following guidelines reflect the types of submissions that are more likely to be selected:

Eligible content typically:

  • Reflects the tone, values, and aesthetic of the Lemieux et Cie brand;

  • Aligns with the theme or prompt provided (if applicable);

  • Demonstrates originality, clarity, and community relevance; and

  • Complies fully with the platform’s Terms of Service and this UGC Policy.


We will not select or redistribute content that includes:

  • Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory language;

  • Explicit, violent, or sexually suggestive material;

  • Political advocacy, endorsements, or partisan content;

  • Promotional material for businesses, services, or personal brands (unless expressly permitted); or

  • Content that violates any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.


We may update these selection guidelines periodically. Selection or non-selection of content is at our sole discretion and does not reflect the value of the submission or its creator.

6. Use of AI Tools in UGC

Lemieux et Cie recognizes that creators may use AI tools as part of the creative process. To support innovation while maintaining standards of authenticity, AI-assisted content is permitted under limited conditions.

Permitted AI Use:

Creators may use AI tools for:

  • Brainstorming, outlining, editing, or formatting;

  • Enhancing visuals using AI-based features that do not materially alter the core creative expression; and

  • Minor automation that supplements, but does not replace, human creativity.


Prohibited AI Use:

Lemieux et Cie will not accept:

  • Fully AI-generated content submitted without meaningful human involvement;

  • AI-generated likenesses, voices, or representations of real individuals without explicit consent; or

  • AI-generated material that imitates or incorporates the intellectual property, branding, or proprietary style of any third party.


Disclosure Requirement:

We ask creators to disclose significant AI involvement, especially where AI tools are used to generate visuals, audio, or characters that may be perceived as original or real.

If Lemieux et Cie determines that AI-generated elements may raise concerns (e.g., originality, transparency, or legal risk), we may request clarification, additional information, or remove the content at our discretion.

We do not require disclosure for minor AI-assisted tasks such as spelling corrections, formatting, visual cleanup, or similar tools used in a supportive role.


Review and Enforcement:

Lemieux et Cie reserves the right to:

  • Review AI-assisted submissions with additional scrutiny;

  • Decline to feature, redistribute, or promote content that lacks originality, violates these standards, or raises intellectual property concerns; and

  • Remove or disqualify submissions found to be in breach of this policy.

7. Legal Details

Usage Rights

You grant Lemieux et Cie, and its affiliates, successors, and assigns, a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, adapt, modify, publish, sublicense, and distribute your content across our marketing channels. This license continues until you ask us to remove your content.

We may edit your content for formatting (cropping, adding text or graphic overlays, color correction) but will maintain the spirit of your original post. We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content that violates this policy, platform terms of service, or applicable laws, with or without notice.

Your Warranties

By submitting content, you warrant that:

  • The content is your original work;

  • You have all necessary rights and permissions;

  • The content doesn’t infringe on third-party rights;

  • You have permission from anyone appearing in the content;

  • The content complies with platform terms of service; and

  • You are at least 18 years of age.

Limitation of Liability

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Lemieux et Cie and its assigns harmless against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content or any breach of these warranties.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by New York State law. Any disputes will be resolved in New York courts.
