Vintage Pierre Jeanneret Furniture

Pierre Jeanneret was Chief Architect of Chandigarh from 1952 to 1965, designing the furniture for the courts, universities, and hospitals of India's first planned city. The pieces here come from the buildings that defined the programme, built in the city's workshops from solid teak, with institutional stencils intact and legible. All pieces are offered as found, lightly cleaned and unrestored, with provenance documentation available on request.
