Traditional Moroccan rag rugs inspire the Doukkala Collection. Hand knotted out of wool, the pile is hand-shorn to create an irregularity in the look, forming a thick, almost cloud-like texture underfoot. The loosest interpretations of a Moroccan rug, the saturated colors, like a dusty mauve or rich oxblood, feel sophisticated and aged.

Shedding is normal and will diminish with regular vacuuming. Loose fibers are common, clip with scissors. Any creases in rugs should disappear in a week or two. Keep away from excessive moisture. Rugs in direct sunlight will fade over time, rotate your rug. Blot spills immediately with a white cloth. Professional rug cleaning recommended as needed. Harsh chemicals may damage or fade rug. Use rug protectors under heavy furniture. Indoor Use only.

The nature of handmade rugs: As these rugs are crafted by hand, there will always be slight irregularities, which are completely normal. The natural variations in the weave, along with the material tension, may cause small imperfections. These characteristics are part of owning a handmade piece.
