Aniline Leather Swatches

Aniline leather is a premium, full-grain leather dyed with clear, water-soluble dyes that penetrate deep into the hide, preserving its natural grain, markings, and texture. With no heavy topcoat, it remains exceptionally soft, breathable, and buttery to the touch. Each hide is one-of-a-kind, showcasing authentic character and natural beauty. Over time, aniline leather develops a rich patina and unique wear patterns that enhance its luxurious, lived-in appeal.

All options are full grain leathers with the exception of Cottswald Smoke, which is a luxurious aniline nubuck leather, crafted from premium top-grain hides and lightly sanded after dyeing to create a soft, velvety nap. Its smooth, suede-like surface offers a sensual hand feel while retaining the durability of full-grain leather.

The Dumas Lounge Chair combines a clean, tightly tailored seat and back with Blonde Burl or Walnut Burl arms, creating a silhouette that feels both refined and inviting. Its generous proportions and softly curved legs pay homage to the Art Deco lounge chairs of the 1930s, blending vintage inspiration with modern comfort.

Offered in stocked leathers, Brindle hair-on-hide, and Customer's Own Leather (COL). Also available in custom fabrics here.

Cushion & Fill Information

Our upholstered seat offers an extraordinary sit in feel. They are designed using ozone–friendly, high density and highly resilient (HR) CertiPur-US foam. The foam is made using renewable bio–based material, covered with a layer of regenerated fiber that provides a soft to the touch feel.

Color / Finish

Available in luxe leathers, Brindle hair-on-hide, and two burl leg finishes. Leather and hair-on-hide are natural materials, and each hide is unique, with variations in color, texture, markings, and hair pattern. Natural characteristics, including wrinkles, stretch marks, scars, and tonal variation, are to be expected. Swatches may not exactly match current production due to the unique qualities of each hide and variations between dye lots.

Also available in customer's own leather (COL). Requires 75 sq ft. of leather. We can only accept full hides. Lead time for COL orders starts when the material is received in our workroom.

Production time is approximately 6-8 weeks. This item ships with white glove delivery service. Delivery time is approximately 2-4 weeks depending on location.
