An increasingly scarce teak mid-century desk by legendary designer Pierre Jeanneret. India, circa 1957 - 1958, for Chandigarh projects. Designed for various administrative buildings in the city. Oxblood re-covered leather top. A single drawer to the front, open pigeonhole shelving to the reverse ideal for books and curios to create and artistic display.

More than sixty years of institutional life have given the teak a rich, layered patina. Offered as found.
