Designed for Chandigarh, India, this day bed has a unique history tied to urban living and modern development. This piece has been reclaimed with custom cut glass top with beautiful beveled edge detail for modern-day use as a coffee table. The glass top also serves to protect the natural original caning underneath.

More than sixty years of institutional life have given the teak a rich, layered patina. Offered as found. Lightly cleaned and unrestored. This original piece is in excellent vintage condition.
