An exceptionally soft, bright velvet with a pile of 100% baby mohair from the very first shearing of young Angora goats. Only three mills in the world can weave mohair this fine, and its close weave gives the superfine fibers a remarkable luster. Its palette draws on the night sky, from deep blues and cosmic golds to the bronze of Saturn's rings and the glowing reds of Mars. It is named for the Paris neighborhood and for the philosopher Michel de Montaigne, who was fascinated by astronomy. Rated for intensive seating, it is made for upholstery and accessories.
